    wet paddy Howard Gem

Just been sorting through my brochures and rediscovered this sales sheet on a Wet Paddy Howard Gem. Did any actually get made and if so do any survive? The photo looks heavily retouched so im unsure if even a prototype was actually made.

You can feel the blast from the exhaust about ten feet behind it.

I know what the fish tail is. The 'WHAT' was I'm now deaf in reply to 'is it loud',

    Hayter Hayterette

I have been servicing several of my customers' modern lawn mowers today so took the opportunity to loosen the remains of the exhaust/silencer. I sprayed some Loctite freezing agent onto the nut throughout the day. I had to cut off some of the exhaust so I could get my socket onto it. After an audible clicked, it loosened up nicely. I was able to unwind it by hand. Results! Now going to order an exhaust for it.

    Versatiller

Hi, my name is Stephan and I am new here. I live in Suffolk (originally from Germany) and recently I bought a Versatiller on ebay (some of you might have seen it). It is in good shape but needs some TLC before it can do it`s job in the garden. I`m about to heat up the shed and was wondering if someone could help me out with repair manuals or spare part lists before I take it apart? I was also wondering what kind of engine it is (can`t find any plates or stickers). Cheers, Stephan

    Hayter 21 Rough Cut

Hi, Just collected a rust free Hayter 21 that had been standing some time and is all complete, even the blades are very sharp and the body skirts work . It is the red 5 BHP and a 206 Magnetron engine and a light green deck. The carb is attached directly to the fuel tank like its old baby brothers. After a bit of fettling I fired up the old girl. No issues there but I want to pull the carb to bits and give it a service, therefore I am looking for a carb service kit ? Can anyone supply a good UK contact for this beast. Definitely running out of room in my garage, but I can still get to the beer fridge.

I have put some clean diesel down the bores, I just ordered some parts from agri line, I'll show you them shortly and I started looking at what needs doing to the head and radiator, I'm going to empty the diesel out on Friday and heat the cylinder up and pore oil in the bores hoping it will expanded a bit and will help brake the seal between the rings and the liners! Regards joe
