    New workshop

Short on updates, but decided I needed a proper brew area in the workshop. I recycled two very nice pieces of solid oak and beech worktop for a kitchen area. Bought a hot water heater too, so I no longer need to wash in the stream

This post inspired me to take my camera to work with me today. Here is the C121 hauling a load of logs I'd just cut and the Raider rotovating a second pass on some pathways that needed reseeding:

This is my resurrected project that I started many years ago on tractorbox, but due to a number of issues never got finished. I purchased this machine in 2009 as a very good runner after wanting one for years. Overall it was very sound just needed lots of silly niggles sorting. Here's where I'm up to with it, but some things are going to need improving on.

Trailer is an agrifab one Andrew, badged under a lot of different names. Just for you Norm, the kids did take a few pics pulling out the buried fencing.

I made this one a few years ago for my 312-8, I took apart the original, not difficult, it was rusted out, I copied the internal volume, pipe sizes, number of holes in the internal pipes (baffles) The only difference was, I fitted a 'stack' outlet, it is sooooo quiet. Stainless from the internet was used, I made 'hammerforms' to shape the ends and centre baffle, all 'tig' welded, and then I cut the outlet for the stack the wrong shape and made the mistake of filling the gaps with weld instead of fitting a 'patch' / 'doubler'. I can't remember what it cost, but the materials were not that expensive. .

I have had a quote to make up an original pattern Kohler exhaust but in stainless, but, the price dropped considerably (as you'd expect) when having a batch made up. I sadly don't have a wealth of cash to spend but wondered if anybody else has had a batch made and if any might be available? I'd also be interested in any new old stock that may be around for 10 & 12 BHP (the same size if I remember correctly).

I am like you started the resto of the 180 degree twin version but its got left to one side for while now. Rebuilt engine and got it running but it was the toughest engine i ever had to get started. Loads of small issues ..leaks etc. Yours looks like it wouldn't take too much to finish.
