6 pointsPicked these up today. The more complete one is a Ransomes 10 inch two horse plough and the other is a Pierce of Wexford 8 inch single horse plough. As the 8 inch Pierce plough has a lot of parts missing, i am going to convert it into something i can use behind the Wheel Horse. The Ransomes will be cleaned up, painted and set in my garden. I suppose you could class these as family heirlooms as the Ramsomes belonged to my grandfather and the Pierce was my great grandfathers. &

Had a bit of time on these making the fixing thingy's out of old bits of metal I've had layin about. 1/2" plate cut into squares and drilled and taped with 7/16" bsw holes with stainless bolts. 1/4" flat plate with 3/4" holes and 3' of 1"1/2" square box section. just need to get the stick welder out and weld it all together, here's a photo of the bits -

Workshop was getting a bit crowded, so with a new arrival imminent I thought I'd better make some room. Sankey trailer is now at a mates and Carol's wabbit hutch, now the wood work has been treated, is out side. Sawbench, which has been in during the winter, has been returned to it's place by my wood store area. I think there's a bit more room now. -

hello, Ive stumbled across this wonderful forum for like minded folk. I recently picked this up, Its not running but looks complete other then a starter motor. And a perished rear tyre due to it been stood on it flat. It has a diesel 10 hp lombardini engine and i think its 1970's and thats about all I know about it, My plan it to get it started. paint the wheels, maybe replace the tyres with more tractor like tyres and use it. the first thing i found out about it was how heavy it is, I collected it on my own from someones back garden, had to get it down a alley with 90 degree bend, i had to lift and bounce it round, I think it was worth it. any info would be nice thanks Ash -

1 pointIt's not as fast or fun and a lot harder to get in and out of! Oh, and the steering feels like WN's when you drove it! No chance I'm not sure other road users would agree when it causes 10 mile tailbacks! Strangely Nigel managed to get in and out of it..... I was just in too much shock to get the camera

1 pointEvening all, well the air around the workshop has been red of late... Nope, not people getting angry, chassis painting instead Two coats of Ford Cardinal red and a couple of clear coats.. Even though the engine cradle was painted at the same time, a different light makes it look a different colour! Out in the sun the red looks quite bright and contrasts well with the black radiator mount. The engine after 2 of 4 coats of black engine enamel. 4 coats of black done and the engine looks a lot better.. I didn't see any point in masking up the valve covers as they need to be stripped of silver paint and polished up.. Just so I could say I've started putting WN back together the king pins/spindles and rear axle were bolted on. When the engine and wheels go back on Mnday I will really feel like I'm getting somewhere with the reassembly... Well, until I have to start on the bodywork
