I'm not getting any younger and everything I work on gets heavier.... picked this up the other week for £30 and with some recycling of an old American bike rack that was built like a tank. Ive got this A handy crane with a 4ft boom that swings inside the workshop

Great job on the Deck fabrication . Slow, but steady progress on the Deck. New bits have been arriving and I decided to make new Baffles as these are too tatty- Both now gone and ready to be Sandblasted 'n' Weldthru Primered in those areas, rest will be Etch Primed- New Baffles will be sealed to deck shell and then squirted with Waxoyl via a small access plug. Got the Anti Scalp Roller Pin out, looked pretty sad. Replacement Roller is Albino!, but will do the job and less expensive than the Black plastic Toro replacement. Also been machining up Bolts for the new Deck Wheels, as the old bolts are bigger?- And the 'Pukka' New Blades have arrived- Got them delivered for less than they appear to retail for in U.S.. Back to more fettling........

A good idea would be a 1 ton twin axle trailer. Never know what else you might carry. I always seem to come home with more than I left with.

Hi Doug I just rang fergie Dave up he has had a few off these,he reckons on steel wheels with toolbar and tools 8.5cwt max rubber wheels no toolbar 7 cwt

This is a deck I reproduced using sheet steel and a course in welding at my local evening classes. The gearing was replaced. New blades were made from strips of steel carefully balanced. Sorry about non standard wheelhorse paint but this was 30 years ago when the Redhorse was not so cheerished.

Hi, I appreciate this is an old post, but am curious if you still have this? As we have one in our narrowboat which is a bit poorly at the moment and spares are getting hard to find. Thanks Carl
