    Winter Project

Bonnet No2 gave me some grief as the blue paint wouldn’t move with paint stripper so i had to use a hot air gun and scraper and finally going over with a drill and sanding pad. This afternoon Steve came down and got the new tin all cut and clamped ready for welding. Looking good.

Ohlsson & Rice: Type 117 Rebuild

Correct me if I'm wrong but somewhere I read you should take this engines apart over a big pan so you don't loose the parts.

Got it all together with Terry's mount, which will get painted silver hammer tone once it warms up a bit. The belt on there fits but a shorter wider belt will look better.

    Ransomes MG Collection

I have tried Oakham on your advice, sadly they have no space. Looks as if I will have to break the collection so all up for grabs, my friends are going to photo each one to list on the web.

Bonnet fits on 2 pegs so you have to spread the bonnet to get it on, and it cracked one of the repairs that I had done 😡
