  1. Got the weight frame done today. It would be better with the bottom being a full size 1/4 plate to sit the weights on. But I haven't got any. One day. That piece of alli chequer plate, fastened down, will suffice till then.
  2. I see a red horse, And I want to paint it black.
  3. Colour not decided yet, Chris. You'll have to wait.
  4. Thanks, lads. Five hours work in that. That old hospital bed is one of the best things I've been given. No crawling about on the floor now.
  5. Some of that looks like Leylandi, Chris. Best left for at least a year or more before you burn it. Very tary.
  6. Got some more steel this morning and got the main frame done this afternoon. Tomorrow I'll see if I can get the weight cradle done.
  7. One will be enough for me, Alan. Thanks.
  8. You sure it's all there, Rhys? Looked a lot more when it was up.

I think Alan has a Roper. There's some photo's of it somewhere.
  10. A little while back I acquired this roller. It's about a meter wide. I removed the shaft and bushes. This morning I knocked up some stub axles. Sorry about the photo quality. I got a bit to close with my camera. These were fitted where the bushes were and welded up. I'd bought new bearings and blocks and these are now fitted. I did purchase some box section and r.s.a. but made a slight boo boo. I didn't double up on some measurements. So tomorrow it's back to the steel stockists for some more and 12 x 75mm bolts.
  11. It is for water actually. I asked him.
  12. Good photo's Paul. Looks a nice place. Pity it's a little way off for me.
  13. BTW. He'd a nice touch on that trailer. He had a hose from traction engine to trailer. Gave the appearance of air brakes on the trailer. You can just see it by the gentlemans foot.
  14. Nice! But what about the tine cover? Belay that. Just re-read your post.
  15. So did I, Chris. It separates. The front section can be used on it's own.
  16. A little bird, maybe not so little, told me it's not a Bolens.
  17. I went today just for a visit and meet up with Mark, his mum and dad and the twins. Some photo's of the day. Mark and Ewan in the parade. I liked this. Westwood with a nice diesel engine. Nice little BMC. Lambretta powered city van. Only one know about. Don't show this to the children. Marks dad, Frank. (Norlet) One horse power gin wheel driving all the machines in the background. I must say the 214 mile round trip and 5 hours of driving was worth it. I'll try and get a weekend pass next year.
  18. You'll not be short of space with those two.
  19. What's the bungee doing? Holding the doors shut?
  20. What's the frame on the front for, James? Mower?
  21. Looking good, Chris. I do mean the trailer of course.
  22. A year eh! Doesn't time fly when your enjoying yourself. Is that view from your back garden?
  23. That looks very sturdily built. Last you a life time.
  24. How does the tank breath then, Nigel? Though thinking about it, I don't think my strimmer has a hole in the fuel cap.
