Tidy machine Norm!. Good find. The steering wheel is a WH Belgium Factory fit (made in Britain). Yours is missing the Centre Boss and had a chrome self adhesive WH decal in the centre.
I gave Roly the spare original S/Wheel & Boss from my C-120 project when I sold him the Tractor. I have a spare decal still if you can/want to find a centre Boss to fit that one.
My 72 Raider 12 when I first found it in 2008 shows the same S/wheel you have-

Just realised why I couldn't post any photo's. My subscription needed renewing.

So some photo's of the B80.#

Done some bits and bobs to it.
Found it had the wrong type of drive belt fitted. It wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding. It now has the correct one fitted. Also had to adjust the clutch peddle linkage as well. Far to much movement and when depressed, the idler pulley was going to far and the belt guide was pushing the top run of the belt down. Tightening the belt and making the gears hard to engage.
Minor adjustment needed on the carb' linkage as well.
Couple of more things needed. Steering wheel is not a Wheel Horse item. So that will be replaced sometime in the future when I can get one. Also correct graphics as well.
You may have noticed the registration plate. Yes! It is registered for road use and I have the reg' document. I may see about fitting it with lights and indicators. Not that I'll be going far. Could raise a few eyebrows outside the village shop.

    Hi,
    Just some pics.
485 kg beast with 18 inch rims - 10hp Sachs 2-stroke water cooled diesel 500 ccm - 6 speed forward -  2 speed reverse - 2 pto speeds - differential lock - handlebar adjustment up - as well as 45° sideways possible in 3 positions each.
Has front pto with overrunning clutch for front mower.
Rear pto shaft = 28mm diameter with 8mm key groove
Steering brake on each handlebar side - when both brakes need to be applied simultaneously as when going downhill with trailer, I use the parking brake lever.
Units like this should NOT be run without competent trailer brakes in nowadays public traffic - the braking power of the Hummel is less than adequate at Vmax of 12,7 km/h

    More pics.

Trailer hitch attachment rotates internally - so rotational movement of the trailer tongue is thus accomplished.
Lube plan riveted to top of hood

here the same unit in front of a sand spreader - a Danish sander with wheel driven dispenser shaft - dispenser rate adjustable by moving trough up/down from shaft by lever with lock positions
Dampened (adjustable) seat mount for added comfort - fitting pillow not shown

Drawn up engine mounting plate design and need to obtain steel sheet to make 4.
The 2 stanchions from 60 x 40 mild steel box are taking shape ready for welding up -

Had been searching for a genuine Villiers vintage exhaust, but realised they want too much money for not much style. I decided to make my own to suit the design I wanted
An empty disposable propane cylinder became the victim after getting the picture in my mind of how I want it. Constituent parts after much searching of materials, measuring, cutting & machining-

Ready to weld the 3 tubes for the outlet to the body and the test fit of the brass banding which seals and registers the butt joint end cap prior to riveting up-

The brass banding was cut from sheet, rolled and silver soldered the ends to form a close fitting ring.
The brass outlet pipe is from a 1954 mower front wooden roller insert, and the fishtail outlet is from a redundant 1960s Ronson Blow torch kit.
All finished and a coat of VHT paint cooked at Gas Mk6 for an hour-

I've got a finned exhaust clamp from a Triumph T120 which fits perfectly to fix it onto the engine.
    Regards.

I finally decided that this project will be a 2 stroke powered Water Pump.
I rescued this old slurry pump with pickup strainer after laying derelict outside for 30 years-

I fully rebuilt this back to new internally and improved the appearance with a bit of cleaning etc. Early 1960s 1" BSP Jabsco model of considerable durability-

Still being manufactured and this version/size will set anyone back £250 + without fittings !.
Low running speed of about 500 rpm will shift 80 ltrs per min and can pump/self prime comfortably from 5 metres head of water.
All this pump work was done several years ago.
Not wanting to use belting for drive(s), my options are :- inline flexible coupling,  chain drive, or combination of both.
Will be mounting this on a wheeled truck of some kind to tie in with the general style theme.
Just starting on the engine mounts.
    Regards.

It's been a long time since I was able to spend time on this. Only now just starting to revisit the project. Plan to make this a priority and finish this year while I still can.
I've been putting details down on paper for it's design and progress, so hopefully will be posting updates soon.
    Regards.

    Hi Everyone,

I got a lot of updates on the tractor which I will hopefully post soon, but I just wanted to let everyone know that today is the 1 year anniversary of when I bought it from the member of MyTractorForum. Thanks again to him for letting me buy it before he sold it to someone else, it means a lot. Here is what it looked like on his trailer below before I bought it and started tearing it apart as shown on page 1 of this post.......

Here is the tractor a year later below almost all torn apart and ready for sandblasting, and priming, and painting. I can't beleive it went from the above photos to the below photos in just a years time, and I can't believe that much progress has been made in that short of time looking back at it. Granted there is a lot more to do and take apart. I hope to and the plan is to have the tractor completely restored and back together late 2023 early 2024......

    Hello All,
i got an ice Auge driller for less money (25€) here in Germany. I like this little old machines much. My old o&r Drillgine gone broken some years ago…
I didn’t found much informations about this tool online. Does anybody has a manual? First thing I have to do, is to clean it. Than I have to change the old fuel line. Maybe after these things I will mix fuel and try to start it 😄 to bore a hole into wood…

    greetings from Germany Jens

It has been a very long time since Joseph and I logged into MOM. I hope everyone is well and we hope to spend more time on forums over the winter. We are still working on garden tractor projects and posting updates on work but these days we are only posting on Joseph's Youtube channel and posting a new video every week.

We are currently working on a 1968 Wheelhorse Raider 9 and it has taken us a long time to get our heads around the way things work on a Wheelhorse. I expect that most of the work we have done is bread and butter to Wheelhorse owners but it is new to us and as such, it is great to learn something new. We have just finished repairing the front axle which was the subject of a recent video.

If you are interested and want a giggle about how we are struggling with this tractor, you can find all the previous videos on Joseph's channel.

  24. Thanks
