Here are a few of my previous "Big Toys" from the good old days when i had money. Ex-works Saphire Cosworth, 450bhp un-restricted. Suzuki SJ410 trials car. Think i have something about the colour green ! Jeep Cherokee 4.0L straight 6 200bhp. Could go places most other 4x4s would sink in. Also had a green Skoda Estelle rally car. Just cant find a picture of it at the moment. -

Vintage vehicles at Hassocks garden centre
Will-Haggle and one other reacted to pmackellow for a post in a topic
Not ideal weather today for a gathering but a few vintage vehicles got together at the South Downs garden centre at Hassocks we went for a quick look (and some lunch and present shopping), there is a Heritage Centre that will be reopening next March after a major refit, should be well worth a look and a potential Meet and Greet venue methinks... -

I'm ok jedburgh is a set in a valley, we live on the top so if I get flooded I think we all need to start worrying! The wind is terrible though, ripped the felt of one of the sheds so been out nailing a tarp over it, hard going with the wind still blowing! -
1 pointRare is nice but getting parts could be a bit of a problem and expensive!
-
1 pointLook forward to see it. Rare as Rocking Horse S@@@.........

1 pointi got a bit of a look at it last weekend. not that i could see much in the shed as there was no lights and it was surrounded by other stuff. from what i can see i think it might be a gilson s-series. as noel said, still waiting on him getting it out and sorting a price.

1 pointnot to sure i seem to just fall into them. i got the qt16 about 5-6 years ago. the 853 i bought cut in half. the HT20 only came up this summer and the G14 only a few weeks ago.

1 pointThat's interesting. Are there many Bolens in your part of the world? The earlier ones over here come up now and again.
-
1 pointmost of the decals on mine are incomplete'ish. most seem to have had a paint job. the only thing that most have is the manufacture name FMC.
-
1 pointJust out of interest do the Bolens over in N. Ireland have Howard's Bolens on the decals? Over in England (and presumably Wales & Scotland) most Bolens have the Howard decals. Howard's were the UK importers of Bolens.

It was another washout day, we've created a new garden sport. White water rafting through the garden Thanks to Jake for braving the cold and tunnel of doom -

1 pointHad to go down to eldest daughters place earlier with sand bags. Water was getting through her back door. Her place is down a lonning with a stream passing under at the bottom. Over flowing it of course and they can't get their cars out. Didn't pose a problem for the Disco.
