    Woodstore / Shed makeover

As its been a nice and dry day I managed to finish the roof. Its had a good coats of adhesive and 2 layers of felt I warmed up the sides and used 80x80 plastic angle siliconed and nailed on then painted black as they only do white. Its all buttoned up and watertight and should stand the high winds we have here on the Southcoast. Next job is the front lower plate and make some doors.

This has been on the drawing board for a while now. Started life as a sorry specimen from Surrey a few years ago. Cue a few crates and a bit of balancing Some RSJ Lots of cutting Welding and drilling And a pivot was formed A bit more welding A drawing Some more welding and cutting And the rear subframe was finished

That looks a fairly simple repair Paul. At least there is something to repair. I had nothing to work with on the lower half of the Roper grill.

Yes that is the one! hopefully mine will look like that soon, maybe in a few months! if you were to get one, try and get the Massey 35 the newer one with the 3 cylinder petrol engine, easy to work on and easier to start! but I like the diesel power! I haven't had time to look at the tractor as I am really busy at work, everyone wants there plant machinery serviced and lawnmowers! so will hopefully look on sunday and update you all! Regards Joe

Evening all another quick update been playing with the power steering on the tractor what a pig of a job I have finally made some progress with it it now steers with no issues to the left and to right , I have had to move the ram to underneath the tractor which runs parallel to the front axle , I have had to do this because I wasn't getting enough lock , I may even change this idea yet , I have rigged a temporary power steering tank up at the side of the engine to test this is not a pemsnrnt fixture here is a quick video

For a few days now Nigel and I have been working on the fender pan and hood/bonnet.. It's been a lot of work to get them looking good, but it's been worth it.. Before.. After Before (almost) After And to even the balance a bit (only a bit as I don't have any "during" photos of the fender pan).. During..

Joe, I have always wanted a vintage farm tractor like the classic grey Fergie as I drive one back in the early 80s on a farm in Sussex. Bring back a lot of memories. If I ever get a house with some land to play with I will get one along with my Bolens yo have a good play. Is the one you got? It's a little unusual compared to the more usually seen Grey Fergies.

Hi Guy's, Nigel and I are in desperate need of a tin of International Harvester red enamel paint Code JFB6 to finish Project Horse Gut and wondered if anyone has a unused tin they would not only sell us, but stick it in the post also.. Now before you all say "look on FleaBay" it would seem that "International Harvester red" has been replaced with "International red"! which despite a local place tell us they are the same shade, they are not! It's a bit hard to see from the state of the tin, but this is the paint we need.. And so you can see the colour difference (it may also stop some of you from making the same mistake Nigel and I did) International Harvester red on the left, International red on the right.. Yes there is one place selling the right stuff on Fleabay, but the delivery time is so long we could finish the entire build before it turns up!
