    Todays project.

    Im fed up running up and down to the local tyre company , so made my own tyre changer. All made from scrap lying around my workshop. The bead breaker works great. Pull bar was made from a bit of 3/4 sprung steel and the ball end is the lower part of a Borg warner gear stick.

    Getting The Working Wheelhorse Ready

    Had a go at changing the front wide wheels to narrow ones today. I found a pair of wheels at Johns with back plates and drums which im not using ( don't think the wheelhorse needs front brakes ) dont know what they were from but were painted a sort of air force blue. with a bit of machining in the lathe 2 sleeves were made and thick washers and a bit of drilling and tapping. heres how far ive got today.
