    Please do. Looks a lot better and stronger than the WH cable arrangement. My main problem would be the fuel tanks, being at the back.

    Didn't think it worth taking any. But if it stops you twineing, I'll take some tomorrow. BTW. You remember the sideways movement in the diff and drive shafts? Well it went on final assembly with all bolts tightened up.

    Got a little more done today. Trans is primed and both gear change levers. Bottom steering shaft and rear support bearing bracket finish painted. Lift lever removed from tower and tower in e-tank.

    That looks cosy. Certainly tidier than my workshop. What's your Land Rover? I've had a few over the years and just parted with my 90 after 13yrs.

    Just had a thought, Nigel. Is the gearbox cross member detachable? Will make clutch replacement a lot easier if needed.
