CAN YOU TELL WHAT IT IS YET!!
Who can recognise the parts ??
After  I changed the engine on my Gutbrod 1032 I had a very heavy mower deck. I also had a small Murrey ride on with no deck.
I have several areas of grass which are right upto very large hedges so it has alot of suckers growing underneath. I made this trailed mower to get under the hedge and cope with the brush without getting scratched when mowing. it can be towed directly behind a machine or  to either side.
It is the hole Gutbrod deck and the rear chassis mounting the engine from the Murry. Hight adjustable via old jocky wheel and solid rear tyres. It proves to be that successful I had to put flaps at the rear as it was throwing sticks 20ft out the back.

Only showmen, (Not Chris),  ie fair ground, circus and the like can tow more than one trailer. Maybe farmers/agricultural contractors as well.

4x4forks reacted to ranger in Playing with cultivator, Broke the hitch.
Took my cultivator to the horse paddocks to break down some rutted ground from last winter, working fine until the link (m8 threaded bar) snapped.
took her to pieces and decided to try something different.
A 24v linear actuator, -recycled- coupled to the hitch and drawbar proved it could lift the cultivator at 12v. (also me)
I removed the rockshaft, homemade, and the unit fitted under the seat with room to spare.
A couple of lugs welded to the crosspiece, an extension to the 'ram'  and it worked! I may add some braces from the crosspiece to the axle, but the whole lot is already stiffened by the fender raising frame added to gain clearance for the tyres.
Tried it today with the discs, the ground was a bit hard, then I realised I need to change the temporary extension for one with a slot to allow the implements to 'float'.
I coudn't find a dpdt switch so I knocked up a unit using a 're-cycled' joystick and three 5pin relays as a polarity reverser, the joystick has a mag-mount so It can be fitted wherever it works best, there is a button on top of the stick which has to be pressed before the other controls will operate. I may fit another actuator to the front to pic up my front weight, this is made from a number of 'flitch' (I think they are called), plates, again re-cycled, each one weighs 1.8kg. the toolbox fits to the hood grill using a couple of 'anti luce' catches, on and off in seconds, plus adds a bit more front end weight. I may try changing the Linak motor for a hydraulic cylinder as the next stage in the experiment, cylinders are no problem, and I also have an ex- mini-bus wheelchair tail-lift electro-hydraulic unit that should fit under the hood.

The Showman kindly made up three ploughing sighting poles for me, which he brought up to Newby. I've been thinking of how to transport them when at a match. Today I set too to see what I could come up with.
Some aluminium 1" angle, U bolt, plastic pipe and a couple of pieces of cushion foam and two hours later the result.

Yesterday I made up some points for them. Held in place with split dowels. Didn't want to damage Chris's paint work.

The poles rest on a rubber strip and another piece of foam goes 'tween poles and U bolt, to stop them rattling about.

BTW. I can still operate the clutch. .

With Newby fast approaching i thought I'd better start getting my stuff together, the first being the Trachorse as its been in the drive since last year.
had a few things to do, here's the list.
    exhaust fell off,
    slew levers seized up,
throttle butterfly and choke seized up.
fuel tank had a load of crap in it and the fuel pipes perished and leaking.
got most of it sorted today just need some fuel pipe and some radiator paint for the exhaust

Finally managed to find a Turf Trac, typically I have been looking for a couple of years finally bought one from way down south only to find another for sale on Gumtree at Annan 30 miles away ( lot more money ). This one is fitted with a 4ft front mounted cutting deck. The reason I wanted one was that trying to move a dead crawler from one garage to the workshop was just too much for my ride on mower and using a live crawler just chews up the drive and the garage floor. 16.5hp Kubota three cylinder engine starts and runs well. Hydraulic lift front and rear , front and rear pto. four wheel hydrostatic drive with twin ratio axles 11 miles an hour top speed. Pulls like a train and turns in a 36inch inner circle.
Needs a new seat  some decals and a general tidy up. Typical it rained persistently after delivery so limited playing time.
