Merry Tiller Professional
Joe the small engine man and 2 others reacted to Will-Haggle for a post in a topic
]It's now got new throttle and clutch cables and a pair of new handlebar grips, courtesy of www.merrytiller.co.uk, top class service! I've just got to clean the tank and carburettor out and away we'll go. Took it to the Brinkworth Show on Sunday with my others. I've been promised a Vee-plex pulley and this one will take it because it's not got a reverse gear.... -

Scrap Heap Saw bench.
Will-Haggle reacted to Stormin for a post in a topic
Take one Liner saw bench minus engine. One Lister single cylinder diesel engine. A pair of Land Rover hubs and wheels and some scrap box section and this is what you get. And earning it's keep. -
1 pointUnfortunately for the general law abiding citizen its a lot easier to catch a speeder than a burgler and easier to get the money in.

1 pointit was from the other direction but not this way, also when I went back up the road there was a very small sign that has been there for months,(scince they dropped the speed from 40 to 30) I could fight it but if I lose I will have to pay court costs, a bigger fine and could get 6 points. I know what will happen next time a copper asks for help... Simply be told to eff off! Out in the sticks with us they relie on the community helping them police the area, well I won't be anymore that's for sure. Ok I was technically breaking the law but I allways drive at a speed that I feel is safe for the conditions etc and can't be that far out as I've kept a clean licence for 18 years, only ever been done for speeding by the French police up till nowand that was with them hidding behind an embankment as I was comming down off a dual carriageway where the speed limit dropped drastically. I just wish they would target proper criminals instead of using motorists as a mobile ATM!

1 pointI found the right man to move her so here are some pictures of the move from garage to my driveway. Last night I pumped up the tyres then I was able to get a trolley jack under so that I could remove the back wheels and give the drums a good belt with a hammer until the brakes let off. Out in daylight for the first time in years Leaving this bit to the experts, nice bloke, good job and a good price. The only missing part seems to be a rear over rider, the sills, front valance and front wings are a bit crusty but it is 55 years old.

wheel horse front loader
nigel reacted to meadowfield for a post in a topic
RS is the best place for build plans and info. Many people have made their own, there's a thread right now on one. Jim (Mith) on the old forum made one and there's a couple floating around in the UK. Finding a genuine example or ark one in Europe is like hens teeth! Keep thinking I need to build one myself... C-161 would be a good one to use, there's only D series, 1045, GT14 and C-195 that ran 15 inch wheels and had some weight to them. The later 300/400/500 make good tractors for it usually because of big engines or hydro. Main issue most people struggle with is getting enough weight on the back, then once you solve that the front axle load is too much and the steering too heavy. 520h with swept axle and reduction steering get around this, they are pretty rare over here, esp the reduction steering. Good luck! -

Home made push (bike) hoe....
Vinnetrow reacted to Will-Haggle for a post in a topic
This ingenious use of an old push bike was seen at a small show in Melbury Abbas, Dorset in 2011. the chain wheel, which is fitted with teeth, drives the tines which are built on the bicycle rear hub.... -

pmackellow reacted to the showman for a post in a topic
Maybe its because the plough was going in deep, I should have tried it higher but didn't think at the time, towards the end of Saturday and Sunday it was working so well and I was enjoying it I just kept going. Ive still a lot to learn but having fun -
1 pointGreat photos and I love the Morris Pick Up. Is the engine standard? Here's my old Pick Up which I sold last year unfortunately.

Cut off the ring hitch today and fitted a ball coupling. Already to be put back to work and easy to move about with one of the horses.
