5 pointsThanks James, shame it's such slow progress.. The underside of the fender pan has been cleaned up and red oxided.. Filler on, filler off! I hate fillering but it's got to be done.. The bonnet got a light skim of filler too.. The extra cooling slot I cut in the front were made wider so they match the originals, a new bit of "grill mesh" was fitted behind as well..

Evening guy's, here's the last and final update on the Project Horse Gut story.. As most of you will know Nigel and I got an offer we just couldn't refuse.... So she went off to a new home.. Loaded in the trailer... The poo trailer was taken on a second trip before you all wonder how it was fitted in I can't sing, so I won't finish on a song... So let's finish with a video instead... Bye bye Horse Gut, it's been fun and a good laugh.. -

Four Wheel Trailer Refurbish
Triumph66 reacted to the showman for a post in a topic
Back in June last year I pulled this trailer out of a barn at Johns. Not sure how long it had been in there but it was buried under a pile of stuff and had 4 Knackerd tyres. I got it home and fitted 4 new tyres and exhibited at a few shows through the summer behind the Wheelhorse. -

If Stormin and Showman can do it... my first time ploughing
woz reacted to meadowfield for a post in a topic
I've two mouldboard ploughs and only ever stuck them in the ground a few times, so on the back of Chris great pics - and Ewan wanting to plant potatoes.... Late sunday we hooked up Bendy and went over to the over side of the stream, it's rough grass that never gets animals on, mowed or ploughed. The first pass went ok, I have to go deep to leave a furrow wide enough for a 12" wheel to fit It was hard going, too high a gear and the engine belt slips. So its a slowly and surely run - until we hit tree roots and rocks. Here are the pics, enjoy -

The showman enters a Annual Ploughing Match
woz reacted to the showman for a post in a topic
As some of you know I entered the 2016 Annual ploughing match. The ground was wheat stubble and had large mose patches which made traction a problem up hill, anyway i had a go. Not having done it before i entered the novice class and was shown to my spot which was twice as big as the horticultural section and the only ride on tractor in the class all the others were full size tractors. Anyway we marked out and did my opening and then carried on and did the patch ( and we weren't last to finish) I learnt a lot throughout the day with lots of advice from friends and need to make a few alterations to the tractor. Heres the photos and running list and results, i was very pleased and had a good day and I wasn't last which was a bonus. -
