    Wheel Horse Clevis Hitch

A while back I noticed a few people asking about these hitches on a Facebook page, thought I’d have a go at making some to see if I could sell any. Here’s how far I’ve got. First job was making a jig to put the 90 degree bend in some 10x50mm bar. needed some 1” square bar to fit in the hardy hole of my anvil. This is the jig I made The round bar fits in the pritchel hole to keep it sturdy Works a treat All the same Next hurdle was putting the cranks in the bars, I made up an attachment for our hydraulic press 9 tons of force to put these bends in

    Early engine rubber plug caps

Seems many of those rubber spark plug caps disappear just like the cooling baffles do. I have a few engines missing them. Made this one using an old Champion CJ8 plug and a can of black Plasti Dip. This was the first one but think I can do even better by rolling the edge of the first dip down to make a lip before doing the second dip. Anyway, if you guys need some covers, it's pretty easy to make them. It appears more original than the rubber caps you can buy. Works well for the stop Kill too

    Winter Project

Both bonnets all welded up and cleaned up, I’m so pleased with them I thought they were scrap at the beginning. Big thanks to my son Steve for his help.

I think you may need to drill a small drain hole as the filter looks like its facing up and might catch water off the bonnet

    Gemini restoration

Paul, I’ll sort out the bucket release mechanism after fabricating the hinges, which I think were made of nylon originally. I don’t think I’ve got any nylon but I might try using some polyurethane material instead. I’m thinking if 2 U shaped pieces which will drop over the tine guard handle when the bucket is tipped upright but hold the bucket in place when it’s lowered. Alan, yes I know... plenty of axle stands. Didn’t realise they were sold in pairs so instead of 10 I got 20!!!

Ohlsson & Rice: Type 117 Rebuild

I can't check tonight but I think the rollers from A-20-5-13-7 & A-20-5-16-7 may be the same as "20-5" is coded into both part numbers, 20-5 is the roller originally used in A-27-11. By the way I checked several packs of A-20-5-13-7 and they all have a waxed strip of 16 rollers, even though only 13 or 14 are needed depending on which service information is correct. David

    Electro Flow Pump

Just arrived today - a fully restorable Electro Flow Pump. I wonder where they got that name? The pump's rubber primer bellows is pretty well petrified, so I won't try to move it! I recently finished restoring an Orline hedge trimmer, came out pretty good.
