6 pointsA lot of you will know of my past 'shed' builds...nee telegraph poles etc...but where we are at now has these ready built fortunately.. Mind you, still got some more returning and illegal security systems to fine tune, but I swear I will never 'build' a big shed again...getting a bit much for me.. ..bless...

Ride on roller project
Stormin and 4 others reacted to ranger for a post in a topic
A better use for the gas bottle Chris, slit it in half longways, hinge the two halves, like a barbecue, mount it on an axle, like a bowser, fill it with ice and water, ( and Desperadoes ) and tow it behind your four wheel trailer at shows. Seats in the four wheeler and a sun shade, and your all set up for watching the displays in the rings. ps. better still, Barbecue one end, Desperado cooler the other. -
5 pointsWell, brick one, ex miking shed, houses our daily used motors, w/shop area and my President at the moment, oh, plus stacks of .....useable offcuts of various materials.. The Nissen hut, don't mention going through the roof!! , is more garden kit and log storage, well, plus a few ride on's..Good building now though, doors one end, (new by Titch Joinery???) house end, seen here, I've yet to do the windows, is kinda just being made a bit 'nicer' than it was. Hence, no time at the moment other than work and doing my sheds!! Oh, sorry dear, and your plants etc!!! Just need some pennies for tractors!!

4 pointsI went today just for a visit and meet up with Mark, his mum and dad and the twins. Some photo's of the day. Mark and Ewan in the parade. I liked this. Westwood with a nice diesel engine. Nice little BMC. Lambretta powered city van. Only one know about. Don't show this to the children. Marks dad, Frank. (Norlet) One horse power gin wheel driving all the machines in the background. I must say the 214 mile round trip and 5 hours of driving was worth it. I'll try and get a weekend pass next year.

Project "Why Not"
diggerjames and 3 others reacted to Ian for a post in a topic
And so the bodywork continues......... The front of the bonnet/hood had the grey primer treatment, you can see where I've started to flatten it down with the aid of a light guide coat. When I was happy with the bonnet it got three heavy coats of red oxide which also need flattening back to a smooth finish. The fender pan has taken lot's of work, but when I was happy it was mostly the shape it should be I hit it with red oxide.. Nothing like a coat of paint to show where the flaws are... And there were loads! Lot's more sanding and adding a bit of filler here and there we have reached this stage.. Only a few minor pin holes to sort out but I'm happy with how it looks now.. All the smaller panels are done apart from the final red oxide coats and some wet n dry flattening, and a thank you to Nigel for finishing the welding on the foot plates Friday With a bit of luck everything will be getting top coats next week, it will be nice to see some shiny paint on them finally -

Wheelhorse 36" mower deck rear discharge to fit C series. in good condition as per photos all complete with belt and mule drive, just hook it on and use it, there's no top belt cover and the blades might need a sharpen. thought I'd offer it here first before i put it on that other site. £250 or make an offer by PM -

Can't beat having enough project space Titch... when do we see the next one? -
1 pointHa, or is it more trendy to say lol? no, I'll stick with Ha! Yes, decent buildings , Nissen hut was in a poor state on each gable, but now timbered up and tidier. Cleaned out, almost, ready for log storage and ride on's. The brick one is the old milking parlour and is a decent size, just about there with it now..other end has doors Chris, the bricked up end is by the back of the house...but, could of course be changed... ...no, it's fine as it is. My Lad put my electric supply in recently, so chuffed with it really... at least my President has a choice of bedrooms!!

Ride on roller project
ranger reacted to pmackellow for a post in a topic
This old roller had been parked in our garden for a few years, we used it with a mates Allis Simplicity ride on mower to level the ground for the aviary bird pens when we moved in to the house in 2004. Since then it has sat in the garden a bit unloved so with the increased interest in working/playing events and the need to have something to put behind the Cub Cadets I asked Mr Showman nicely if he could modify it for me, add a tow bar and remove the unwanted parts of the frame. Today we popped down to see Chris with the roller and he kindly fired up the saw and the welder and did the modifications. It was then transported back home and painted, as a tribute and a thank you to Mr Showman there was only one colour it could be... -
1 pointIf I had a couple of sheds that size in my garden there wouldn't be any space for the house One day when I'm all grown up I will have sheds that big too

Hello, Just found this post - a little late I know! I have one of these in my shed. My Da bought it new in the early '60s. You can remove the rotovator bit and fit a grass mower. We used it for many many years - both to cut a large lawn area and to cultivate our vegetable patch. My Da removed the blue cover from the tines because stones regularly got caught there and stalled the machine! It was a heavy machine to push around the lawn - I remember as a 12 year old! There was also a hedge trimmer which attached to the other side from the above picture. I remember there being a book with it but I don't think I have it. I haven't started it in a good many years. The mower is attached at present. I will try and get a photo at some stage. Jim. -
