    time warped 417-A

I picked a wheelhorse 417-A up today from brighton general auctions. it comes with deck and also came with a sweeper. It has been stood in a garage for the last 20 years!! Only done 188hrs. quite a tidy machine, haven't had time yet to overhaul and try to start it

    Ruston Hornsby APR

Before getting into horticultural machinery I collected stationary engines with my father. Of the engines we own this Ruston Hornsby APR 2 1/2hp model from 1928 is our most rallied engine. The last photo shows it driving our Evans water pump.

In a rare departure, C4 was out this afternoon for some duties in the top field. Firstly pulling out some old fencing buried in the ground, and then moving a a few logs...as well as providing a little light to see.

I think Chris will use the digger to create an underground storage facility or he might use it to store them on top of the existing buildings...... The possibilities are endless......

Have you tried the Toro master parts viewer ? Enter your serial number or look at model search then click product details at the top right corner That should give you a build data sheet.

Chris says he has run out of room for tractors. He just fills his van up with little bits and pieces now. Still not sure what he's got planned for the Kubota though.

    Project C1-4x6

Hi all a quick update I've now fitted the new chain which seems to be a lot better in quite impressed with it , and I've tested the new steering which also works quite well I do however need to make a few adjustments to the steering bracket which fastens to the axle ! Here's a quick video Since fitting the new axle it has picked up the front end up thus lifting the middle axle and making the middle axle air Bourne so I have now got to split the tractor and re drill the axle mounting plate to level up the tractor

    Ransomes Sand Skimming Tractor

Somebody was heading into the garage with head held high I shouted to him to duck so what did he do ? Stamped on the brakes and swerved to the left heading for the garage wall and all between him and it ! Being a man of iron he let go the brakes and eventually shut the throttle coming to an ignominious stop amongst power packs , compressors and Petrol engines people want to pay me money for. No damage done and no skin lost so all's well !

Been cleaning up the engine today. The ali was very tarnished in places so after scotch clothing it, I etch primed it then sprayed it with aluminium refinishing paint. The barrel and head were also etch primed and then sprayed gloss black.

    Cub Cadet 70 restoration

A few more bits done over the weekend and yesterday. Finally started work on the other side of the chassis which was in a worse condition than the other side, we replaced the side in three sections so that the chassis didn't twist. Just before welding in the last piece. Finally finished all of the repairs on the chassis, it just needs its final coats of primer and then I can start on the yellow paint With thanks to my grandad the tyres have been taken off the rear wheels so I can start cleaning them up. Some more bits sandblasted
