I would just like to say a big thank you to all the exhibitors and friends that came to see us over the weekend at Rural Past Times. It was the biggest display of horticultural exhibits we've had at the show and I'm very greatful to you all for your support. I hope you all had a good time and will join me next year, Once again many thanks everybody. The Showman ( Chris and Pam ) -

I really enjoyed it today and thanks to Nigel for letting me drive the blue Trojan; a little gem of a tractor for someone with a smaller body mass. Also many thanks to Chris for setting up and organising another splendid day. Great to meet up with everyone and good to meet up with Iain after two years emailing each other. Also thanks to Chris for allowing me to drive his Bolens 1886. A fantastic machine as suspected. I got a year to start planning a mini Bolens invasion at RPT ! -
4 pointsa mid mounted blade has feed back from front wheels if front wheel drops in a hole blade drops and fills hole if blade is out front a pothole causes another to be made just in front of it

1 pointJust arrived today - a fully restorable Electro Flow Pump. I wonder where they got that name? The pump's rubber primer bellows is pretty well petrified, so I won't try to move it! I recently finished restoring an Orline hedge trimmer, came out pretty good.

1 pointBeen a really good weekend, despite being to hot and to much traffic. I'm not used to either. Good to put faces to names, Iain and Richard to mention two. I'll make a more detailed report when I get home in a week.

Talking to the ring master or should that be the arena master -
1 pointLearnt something useful there and it makes sense too. Cheers

1 pointThere is also one of these in my collection, but it's escaped the camera till now. Mine is the 1HP version, the carb and aluminium cylinder plates were missing when I bought it. I would have thought the original owner of the pump would have chosen the pipes/primer for their intended use when new. David

1 pointHi and welcome. Last year I did a bare metal restoration on an Osprey which went to good use somewhere in Devon. I have a solid Hayter 21 and an old Hayterette, the latter would like a new engine, I will keep an eye out for one. They are sitting in my greenhouse waiting for harvest to finish. I thought retirement was supposed to give me time on my hands. Keep up the good work. I would buy all the old rough cutters if I had time. Regards.

Hello Iain hope to meet you tomorrow, we are on holiday in your fair county over the Bank Holiday weekend so may need to talk to you about collecting The Showmans roller... -
1 pointThanks, I found the post, are those weights, and your wheels the same size as the 12" bolt on wheels on the GTs, or are these weights smaller? I want a red Bolens dump cart BAD!

1 pointI haven't seen them personally, but I did a google image search, and found a few pictures I could post. Like this one of two lovely ladies enjoying the beach, sans sand, but I wish I was a stone under a sandal. I thought you could swim Chris?
