Looking to finish this 'Mothballed' 1 inch Scale design TE project while I still only need the occasional use of a weak Magnifying Glass !., so it's top of the jobs list now. I've been recently making loads of small Nuts and Bolts for parts that were temporarily fitted. Smallest size is 0.0669" (1.62mm) AF Steel hexagon rod with 12BA thread. The metal plate in the Pic is one of 3 Oil Lamp brackets that require these small bolts- -
1 pointNot strictly Horticultural or Garden but am looking for information about the manufacturer etc of this push / pull child's rider which was new to me in 1947. Its done the rounds of other children and grandchildren etc and is now back with me for refurbishment! The maker's name stamped in the back is BHC Boltoy but I can't find any reference to them on the internet and unfortunately the possible local source, the Pedal Car Museum, just across the boarder in East Sussex, has closed.

1 pointWell the ground is to wet to do anything so I started a new project. A hydraulic tipping trailer. As i work with Fork lifts I aquired a damaged side shift Ram . I stripped and straightened the rod. Closed lenght of 75cm . Had to cut the trailer about a bit to allow for the arc of the ram but nothing to drastic. Now run out of Mig wire. I will post some photos when I have it abit more together

1 pointManaged to get the rest of the rims painted today. Ever notice, as soon as you set out something that is freshly painted all the flys in the country have to land on it ! WHY ? What it it about fresh paint that is so appealing ?
